Kris was born and raised in Rotorua. He began his career in the trades after finishing high school, landing a role at a local joinery shop where he spent several years learning the craft. In 2006, he became a qualified craftsman joiner, continuing to work across New Zealand and Australia over the next six years, building on his skills and experience.

In 2012, Kris made the move into the stone benchtop industry. A shift that allowed him to bring his deep understanding of craftsmanship into a new material. Since then, he has spent over a decade refining his expertise in both the manufacturing and installation of stone surfaces. His hands-on experience and dedication to quality have earned him a solid reputation as a reliable and skilled professional in the industry.

Outside of work, Kris loves spending time with his family. You’ll often find him at the Go-Karting track, casting a line on a fishing trip, or cheering his boys on at local sports events.
